Laid-back summer hygge wedding

The story of how Jana and Diddi met, is the craziest (and most romantic) one I can think of! And I love it!! 🙂

Jana is a seasoned traveller and had Alaska up next on her bucket list. To make the trip even more adventurous, she wanted to explore that beautiful part of the world with someone she hadn’t met before and hence, placed an ad for a travel companion on JoinMyTrip. I mean – how amazing is this woman?!

Diddi showed interest in her online proposal and from the first time they met, they simply clicked. Unsurprisingly, while on their ‘test weekend’ in Salzburg, they fell in love…

And here we were: Celebrating their completely unpretentious and laid-back hygge-style wedding, which got us all laughing, then crying, and laughing again…. an unforgettable day FULL of emotions. And all that really mattered was that absolutely everybody would be comfortable, having a great time. Jana and Diddi – you two are simply adorable. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience! xx

Die Geschichte von Jana und Diddi ist die verrückteste (und romantischste), die ich mir vorstellen kann! Und ich liebe sie! 🙂

Jana ist eine richtige Weltenbummlerin und hatte als nächstes Ziel Alaska auserkoren. Als ob der Trip nicht an sich schon abenteuerlich genug wäre, wollte sie das mit einer ihr bis dahin fremden Person erleben und suchte via JoinMyTrip nach einem Reisepartner. Jetzt mal ehrlich – WAS für eine Frau!!

Diddi meldete sich auf ihre Anzeige und von der ersten Begegnung an waren die beiden auf einer Wellenlänge. Es folgte ein “Test-Wochenende” in Salzburg auf dem sich die beiden – statt sich auf die gemeinsamen Reisepläne zu konzentrieren – ineinander verliebten. 🙂

Und da waren wir also: Mitten in der Natur auf einer wunderschönen Wiese mit einem traumhaftem Ausblick, feierten wir ihre herrlich unprätentiöse und total entspannte Hygge-Hochzeit. Alles was zählte, war, dass sich jeder einzelne einfach! nur! wohlfühlt! (und das schloss uns Dienstleister mit ein!). Jana und Diddi – Ihr habt uns allen einen absolut unvergesslichen Tag voller Emotionen bereitet. Ich danke Euch von Herzen!! xx

Jana and Diddi had exchanged their rings during the civil wedding already. Now they were placed in little glass boxes and handed from one guest to the next, to receive their blessings and well wishes …before they were handed back to the two.

Tina and Dirk – you were most amazing as maid of honor and best man!!

Then came the speech of the Jana’s dad, which was an emotional roller coaster. Even for me as ‘stranger’. (Thanks dad! I was almost incapable of taking pictures!)

Dann kam die Brautvaterrede und setzte selbst mich als ‘Fremde’ außer Gefecht. Eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt war das für uns alle.
